LuminaPath Adaptive Beacon
Transforming your driveway into a smart, self-illuminating guidance system.

Overview
LuminaPath is an integrated, low-profile smart beacon system designed to mount seamlessly onto exterior home facades or garage corners, replacing traditional static porch lights with dynamic, directional illumination.
Key Components
- Multi-Spectrum LiDAR Sensor Array: Detects approaching vehicles and pedestrians with high spatial resolution.
- Micro-LED Matrix Projector: Provides dynamic, ground-level laser-guided lines that illuminate the path from the street to the garage or front door.
- Integrated Photovoltaic Housing: High-efficiency transparent solar skin that powers the unit via ambient daylight.
- Low-Energy Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Hub: Syncs with vehicle proximity sensors and smart home security systems.
How It Works
- Upon detection of a vehicle's specific signature via encrypted handshake, the sensor activates.
- The system maps the geometry of the driveway using the LiDAR sensor.
- The Micro-LED matrix projects a faint, glowing navigational line onto the driveway surface to guide the driver.
- Once the vehicle is parked, the system transitions into 'Security Watch' mode, highlighting perimeter movement.
Materials & Construction
Constructed from aerospace-grade brushed aluminum and impact-resistant, hydrophobic polycarbonate. The electronics are encased in a thermally conductive, IP67-rated silicone resin to ensure durability against extreme weather conditions.
The LuminaPath system leverages the principles of Structured Light 3D Scanning and spatial light modulation. By using an array of MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) mirrors to steer lasers, the device can precisely map the driveway in real-time. The navigational path is generated by calculating the optimal spline between the vehicle's current position and the destination coordinates. The illumination technology utilizes low-intensity coherent light sources that are visible to the human eye but cause no glare for the driver, ensuring safety while maximizing visibility in low-light environments.
